A lifetime in Northern Nevada
Sean McCaffrey’s story began in 1972 at St. Mary’s Hospital, growing up and creating cherished memories in Reno. A proud graduate of McQueen High School in 1990 and UNR in 1996, Sean was a Founding Father of Kappa Alpha Order fraternity and a dedicated member of the Cheer Squad. It was on the track of Mackay Stadium in 1993 that he met his future wife, Stef, beginning a partnership that would lead to their son, Kellen, born in 2006. His roots run deep in the community he now seeks to serve.
Leading with experience and innovation
Sean’s career journey has spanned diverse industries, where he consistently achieved success, including leading a global operations team for Aristocrat, the world’s largest slot machine manufacturer. With a shared desire to take control of their careers and time, Sean and Stef embarked on new entrepreneurial ventures. Stef launched "Seas the Day Travel" in April 2023, and together they launched "Bin Masters of Northern Nevada" in June 2024, demonstrating their dedication to growth and community involvement.
Protecting our quality of life in ward 4
What compels Sean to run for Ward 4 on the Sparks City Council is a profound concern for our community’s future. He believes our quality of life is under assault – our open space, infrastructure, home values, and individual economic vitality are all at significant risk. Sean is committed to galvanizing Ward 4 residents into a unified voice, protecting our shared interests, and bringing transparency and accountability back to local government. He wants to deliver for the residents of Ward 4.
